He is the style representative of Japan Karate Shotokai, Okinawa Martial Arts Academy for the state of Odisha. He practiced karate under guidance of beloved Sensei Late K. Mohan Chandran and then practiced under famous karate master S. Srinivasan of Hyderabad. He introduced karate in many schools and colleges of Odisha.
